St. Mary’s College is owned and managed by St. Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Church-known as Valiyapally, Thuruthiply, the famous Marian Pilgrim Centre of the East. The College is managed by St. Mary’s Charitable and Educational Trust. St. Mary’s Charitable and Educational Trust is one of the leading service oriented trust offering both charitable and educational services.The first endeavour of the trust was in 2001 with the establishment of a palliative care unit, Snehabhavan, for cancer patients. As part of educational enrichment, St. Mary’s Public School, affiliated to CBSE, came into existence.The strong determination of the trust for imparting higher education leads to the establishment of St. Mary’s College in 2010 with three undergraduate courses and gradually upgraded with other graduation and post graduation courses and elivated among the affiliated colleges under Mahatma Gandhi University.

The College administration is headed by experienced priests and efficient team of members of the St. Mary’s church, who play a vital role in maintaining the discipline of the institution.
