An Anti-Narcotics Awareness Programme was organized at St. Mary’s College of Commerce & Management Studies, Thuruthiply, on 11 September 2026 at 11:00 AM at the College Seminar Hall.

The programme was conducted to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of narcotic substances and to encourage them to lead a healthy and drug-free life. Mr. Gopalakrishnan T.L., Preventive Officer (G), Excise Range Office, Perumbavoor, served as the speaker.

The session focused on the dangers of drug abuse, its impact on individuals and society, and the importance of staying away from narcotic substances. Students actively participated and gained valuable awareness about the consequences of substance abuse.

The programme was informative and successfully conveyed the message of maintaining a drug-free campus and society.
