The NSS Unit of St. Mary’s College, Thuruthiply, organised a meaningful programme titled “Arumakkodu – Thaakkoldaanam” on 27 July 2026 at 10:30 AM at the College Seminar Hall. The programme was organised as part of the NSS Unit’s efforts to extend social support and contribute to the welfare of deserving members of the community.

The highlight of the programme was the handover of the house key by Prof. Dr. D. Mavooth, Vice Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi University. The presence of the Vice Chancellor added great significance and inspiration to the programme.

The programme witnessed the participation of college authorities, NSS volunteers, staff members and well-wishers. The event highlighted the values of compassion, social responsibility and community service promoted by the NSS. The initiative was a memorable and socially relevant activity of the NSS Unit of St. Mary’s College, Thuruthiply.
